Ruff Plumbing – Terms and Conditions

Thank you for choosing Ruff Plumbing. By engaging our services, you (“Client”) agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Service Agreement

All plumbing services provided by Ruff Plumbing (“Company”) are subject to the terms outlined herein. These terms apply to all scheduled appointments, service calls, repairs, and installations.

2. Payments & Fees

  • Payment Terms: Payment is due in full upon completion of services, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Late Fees: Payments not received within 30 days of the invoice date will incur a late fee of 10% of the outstanding balance or $100, whichever is less.

  • Accepted Payment Methods: We accept cash, checks, and major credit/debit cards.

3. Warranty

Ruff Plumbing offers the following limited warranties:

  • Labor Warranty: All labor is guaranteed for 2 years from the date of service, covering issues due to workmanship under normal use.

  • Materials Warranty: All materials supplied by the Company are covered under a 1-year warranty, limited to defects under normal wear and tear.

  • Warranty Exclusions: These warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, external causes (e.g., flooding, earthquakes), unauthorized repairs or modifications, or materials not provided by Ruff Plumbing.

4. Appointment Cancellation

  • Same-Day Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made on the day of a scheduled service appointment will incur a $75 cancellation fee.

  • Rescheduling: We understand emergencies happen. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule appointments without penalty.

5. Access & Safety

Client agrees to provide safe, reasonable access to the work area and to notify Ruff Plumbing of any known hazards. The Company reserves the right to decline service if unsafe conditions are present.

6. Limitations of Liability

Ruff Plumbing is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, hidden damage, or issues resulting from prior unlicensed or substandard work. Liability is limited to the repair or replacement of faulty work or materials as specified under warranty terms.

7. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

8. Modifications

Ruff Plumbing reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available upon request or via our website.
